What we do

Subsea and Pipelines

Offshore pipeline

Engineering design and construction management of subsea production systems for life-of-field operations have been at the core of our business, particularly since the formation of INTECSEA and the integration of Ingen into the Advisian team.

Our combined capabilities allow us to contribute to the strategic long-term value of the project as we move through each stage of a development. We work closely with our in-house field development and production assurance specialists to provide technical input into the concept phase of a project. This gives us early insight into potential challenges and opportunities, and provides invaluable perspective on the shape of the complete development.

Specialized technologies such as high-pressure and high-temperature, aggressive fluids and subsea processing are firmly established within our project experience.  This incorporates practical design and installation technology required for cost-effective completion and operation of offshore field development facilities worldwide.

We have been instrumental in helping the offshore industry recognize the value in moving to subsea system configurations that are more modular. Through multiple subsea deepwater project applications, we have validated and proven that these optimized configurations increase flexibility and reduce risk.

In addition to our integrated subsea service, we also:

  • Generate field layout and operating philosophies
  • Assess operability and conduct flow assurance analyses
  • Develop technical definition for procurement and fabrication of subsea components
  • Oversee factory acceptance and system integration tests
  • Supervise offshore installation, start-up, and commissioning
  • Manage deepwater contractors

By combining technical expertise with our project management and execution capabilities, we can reduce effort, costs, interfaces, and time, as well as provide greater control of our overall service- all of which benefit our customers.
