Supporting female leaders at the Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky summit

14 March 2018

According to Chief Executive Women research, only 5 per cent of ASX 200 companies have a female chief executive, and 41 companies don’t have female representation at the most senior management levels of the company. This highlights the need for greater representation, but also that there’s great opportunities for women to rise up into leadership positions in Australia.

With its international origins, unique involvement of very senior male leaders, no presentations motto, and Speed Mentoring session built into the day’s content, the Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky® summit aims to support female leaders as they start to push into more leadership roles.

The summit features the world’s best leaders sharing their organisations’ and their own best practices for success.

Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky® actively engages and leverages male leaders in the mission of gender diversity, and our own Tony Frencham took part in the Panel discussion on “Winning in a Man’s world”, sharing his perspective on how men can help build more gender-diverse organisations.

"It was a real privilege to be part of this success and leadership summit for women with so many inspiring leaders sharing their passion and insights. Progressing to a world where all of our employees can have an equal opportunity to be as successful as they can be is the outcome we must achieve. Not only is this the right thing to do, but it is the smart thing as we will all benefit from the more productive and innovative future that greater diversity of thinking and leadership brings” Tony Frencham, Group Managing Director, Power and New Energy.
