Our Americas’ Power and New Energy team is excited to welcome Nicholas Abi-Samra as its newest subject matter expert, joining the Distributed Energy Resources Consulting team as Senior Technical Director.
Nick is a nationally recognized leader in the field of advanced power systems studies and analysis. Across his 40 years of experience in this field, he has achieved the highest technical positions at both Westinghouse Electric and EPRI, and leadership positions at Accenture, Quanta Technology and DNV GL.
A recognize subject matter expert in failure analysis/root cause investigation on electrical systems, grid modernization, system resiliency and protection, distribution system planning and analysis, extreme weather impact planning and analysis, T&D system audits and distributed energy resources, Nick is regularly interviewed and asked to contribute to industry publications.
