Advisian’s Dili Team donates IT hardware to local charities

14 December 2016

Our team in Dili, Timor-Leste, were looking to make good use of some excess IT hardware and decided that they would like to donate the equipment to a local charity.

They ended up donating 15 computers and 8 monitors to two local foundations in Dili - the ‘Centro Pastoral Sao Miguel Arcanjo’ and ‘Carmelitas Descalces’- who will use this equipment to begin computer training courses for local residents.

Dan Hunter, Country Director, Timor-Leste said “It’s great to be able to give back to the communities in which we operate. This might only seem like a small thing for us, but it makes a big difference to the local people who will be able to learn new computer skills through these foundations.”
