The United States' Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act - Overview and analysis on potential implications for industry

On 6 November 2021, the US Congress passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, more formally known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. This focuses on upgrading and increasing the availability of core infrastructure, including hard and soft infrastructure. Embedded in this Act is the need to act on the United States' nationally determined contribution (NDC) interim target of greenhouse gas emissions reductions by 50‑52 percent below 2005 levels in 2030.
