Who we are

Worley is participating in the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Certification program through the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business

June 25, 2019

The Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is a national, member-based organization with the mission to foster sustainable business relations between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, businesses and communities through several programs, providing tools, training, network building, business awards and national events.

We are excited to announce that Worley Canada is participating in the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Certification program through the CCAB. The PAR Certification program encourages companies to evolve and participate in the growing Aboriginal business economy across Canada. Companies that sign on to the PAR Certification program have three years to build and develop the framework and associated tools and targets. PAR companies are then externally verified through an audit process to determine progress and commitment in four key areas:

  • Leadership Actions

  • Business Development

  • Employment

  • Community Relationships

A working group with representation from each business line will participate in the PAR Certification process with input from human resources, procurement, business development and community relations.
