Advisian Digital accepts 'Best Process Controls/Automation Technology Award' at the 2019 HP Awards

Nearly 150 of the midstream and downstream oil and gas industry’s brightest minds gathered last week to find out, and celebrate, the winners of the 2019 HP Awards. The awards ceremony seeks to recognize and honor the midstream and downstream processing industry’s top innovations and innovators.

Advisian Digital accepts Best Process Controls, Automation Technology Award at the 2019 HP Awards

Honorees took home awards in 17 categories—14 encompassing the latest technological advances in the hydrocarbon processing industry and three people awards—from the gala event in Houston, Texas. These innovations are enabling refinery, petrochemical and gas processing/LNG operators to optimize their operations.

In this year’s ‘Best Process Controls/Automation’ category, Advisian Digital won for its Catalyst Removal Amphirol (CAROL). Advisian Digital has developed an innovative technology for robotic catalyst removal from refineries and LNG vessels using a remote-operated, screw-propelled vehicle. CAROL helps reduce human risk and turnaround durations. The technology has successfully completed several catalyst removal projects in varying environments, reducing the need to put personnel in harm’s way.
