MoU with Hubei Electric Engineering Corporation

22 February 2018

Advisian is pleased to announce the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Hubei Electric Engineering Corporation (HEEC).

HEEC is a large, state-owned power engineering consulting company under the group of POWERCHINA. They are a high technology enterprise with Class A certificates in power engineering planning, consulting, survey, design, and experienced in EPC. They also provide environmental and safety assessments, geotechnical hazard surveys (as well as assessments and treatment), and integrated solar power building and power generation consulting services.

As the independent consulting business line of the WorleyParsons Group, Advisian provides strategic, management and technical services across the Power, Minerals, Metals & Chemicals, Infrastructure and Hydrocarbons sectors. HEEC chose to work with Advisian due to our extensive large-scale concentrated solar power (CSP) experience, global presence, familiarity with both China’s and international codes and standards, and local presence creating a seamless interface between the two companies.

The MoU signing ceremony was held on 26th January 2018 in Wuhan, China, and will see Advisian and HEEC work together in a non-exclusive relationship, jointly cooperating towards the growth of the CSP-related businesses and domestic and overseas power project opportunities. Also in attendance at the ceremony was Mr Xiao Mu, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s Hubei Office Chief Representative.
