Sulphur Solutions

sulphur processing plant

Advisian is a recognized world leader in sulphur management and technologies for all efficiencies and capacity ranges. Through the recent acquisition of Jacobs’ Energy, Chemicals, and Resources business, Comprimo, specialist technologies for gas processing and sulfur removal, is now part of Advisian. Together, as two of the largest sulphur technology suppliers, our combined capabilities, project histories, and portfolios are unmatched in the industry.

Navigating the complex downstream hydrocarbons landscape

As part of the WorleyParsons Group, our consultants tap into the 60 years’ experience WorleyParsons has in downstream hydrocarbons activities to support the development, expansion and modernization of crude oil refineries, implementation of environmental protection initiatives, and the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of hydrocarbon products.

Increasingly, we support modernization projects that enable our clients to maintain plant efficiency, throughput and margins in the face of increasing sulphur production from heavy, sour feedstocks, as well as innovative, cost-effective and safe solutions to meet government mandates for clean fuels.

We have supported the design of more than 600 sulphur recovery plants that meet the most stringent environmental standards. We offer a complete range of sulphur management and recovery technologies including:

  • Standard and oxygen-enriched technology
  • Tail gas technology
  • Sub-dew point processes
  • Bulk handling and transportation

Advisian also has proven capacity to support gas-to-liquids projects and an extensive range of petrochemical facilities, spanning the full project lifecycle.
