Previously the Vice Chairman and Global Human Capital Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers International based in New York. Dennis has a strong background in the areas of transformational change, global strategy and high impact "customer focused" interventions. His leadership combines significant global experience with strong commercial acumen. Dennis joined PwC in 2004 as a direct-admit partner in the Australian firm. He first served as the founding Consulting Leader and then as the National Advisory Leader for PwC. He went on to play major leadership roles, including that of Global Engagement Partner for Australia's leading telecommunications company, as well as Human Capital Leader for PwC Australia and the East Cluster, which includes all of Asia. In 2008 he led the largest global firmwide change initiative. Following this milestone project in 2009 he was asked to relocate to NYC to serve on both the US and Global leadership executive teams.
Prior to joining PwC, Dennis served as Chief Executive and Chairman to a number of businesses and has extensive experience playing key leadership roles in major multinational companies, including later being Chief Executive of his own consulting business. As a respected global leader and "thought leader" particularly in Human Capital Dennis has worked directly for numerous Chairmen, Boards and CEOs and is a sought after speaker by many International clients. His history and background includes Operations, Manufacturing, HR, Marketing and General Management coupled with multiple locations. (UK, US, Australia, NZ, Asia) Dennis is recognized as a highly experienced global leader with a passion for results, a collaborative leadership style, a global mindset and the courage to lead major change.
Before joining Advisian, Merrick was Head of M&A at Foster Wheeler and led the sale of Foster Wheeler to Amec. Prior to that Merrick was CFO of both public and private companies in both the traditional and alternative energy markets. Merrick worked in the USA for 11 years and has completed deals across the globe. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Heather has a background in Economics with a Masters in Econometrics and joined Advisian (Evans & Peck) four years ago as Senior Consultant. She has worked on a number of consulting projects ranging from transformational change programs and greenfield project advisory, to development of strategy for government clients. Heather has worked and lived in Botswana, Mongolia, China, Colombia and West Africa.
Gavin has more than 25 years of management consulting experience serving clients across the energy and chemical industries with a particular focus on Operations Improvement. Gavin is a mechanical engineer by training and started life as a wireline engineer in Algeria, Italy and Nigeria for Schlumberger. From 2004 to 2013 he led the London Office and Operations Practice for Schlumberger Business Consulting. In 2013, he set up MTG’s operations in Europe.
Steve's experience encompasses a wide range of projects in the transport, social infrastructure, utilities, property and oil & gas sectors. He has experience in design, construction and project management processes, from the feasibility assessment of a project through to construction supervision. His experience also includes growing and running significant consulting businesses in Australia and Asia and in the merger and acquisition of international businesses. Steve joined Evans & Peck in 2011, became Principal in 2012, and in March 2014 took on the role of Advisian Managing Director – APAC.
Neil Mackintosh was named executive vice president of sales and marketing for Advisian in July 2016. In this challenging new role, Neil will lead all marketing and sales efforts across Advisian, and will be a key member of the Advisian and WorleyParsons leadership teams.
Neil has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong commercial and technical background. He most recently served as President of INTECSEA, and was responsible for maintaining INTECSEA’s leadership as a global provider of engineering, consulting, and project management services for offshore oil and gas developments.
Prior to his role with Advisian, he served as Senior Vice President of Genesis Subsea (Technip). In this position, he had full profit and loss accountability and global responsibility for over 800 engineering personnel. This included the strategic planning and establishment of the new Genesis Subsea business in Malaysia and Australia, and the acquisition of an engineering company in Brazil.
Neil is a proven leader with an excellent track record. His experience covers everything from engineering, construction and project management of marine pipelines, to subsea and riser developments and fixed and floating offshore facilities. His technical leadership experience is complimented by a solid commercial background, with a focus on delivering financial results.
Mackintosh is a graduate of Newcastle University in the UK. While he has been based in Houston for many years, he has extensive international experience working in locations including London, Aberdeen, Perth, Stavanger and Oslo throughout his career.
Brian Evans currently has two key roles at WorleyParsons. Within the new Global Sales & Marketing Group, he is Managing Director – Hydrocarbons, and also has responsibility for Business Development across Business Lines. Additionally, he is Managing Director – Aerial Data Management, where he is responsible for growing this new global business through our relationship with Lockheed Martin. He also supports WorleyParsons and Advisian with new technology and business evaluations, and market strategy development. For 6 years, until May, 2014, Brian held the position of Managing Director of the Global Hydrocarbons business of WorleyParsons. In that role, he led the development and implementation of global strategies in the Hydrocarbons sector, and also had overall responsibility for customer relationships.
Prior to joining WorleyParsons, Brian held two positions at ConocoPhillips. In the role of Manager, EPC Contracting, Well Operations & Market Intelligence, he launched the EPC Contracting category, optimized Well Operations procurement, and developed improved methodology for cost escalation forecasting. His previous position at ConocoPhillips was Manager of the Technology Solutions Division, which included responsibility for the licensable technology portfolio of ConocoPhillips, and investment in emerging technologies.
Chris, originally from the UK, spent the first 16 years of his career in the industrial gas industry with BOC (Latterly Linde). He has held various roles including operations with BOC in the UK and Thailand, Safety Director in South East Asia, General Manager BOC Malaysia and Managing Director South Korea.
Chris founded, developed and then sold his own business in the UK between 2008 and 2010 before joining WorleyParsons in 2011 in China, responsible for the global chemicals business. He has since lead the growth of the sector, creating a significant global business achieving revenues of circa $500m including significant expansion of both customer relationships and capability within the sector. He is now responsible for the global chemicals sector across WorleyParsons and Advisian.
John has approximately 33 years’ experience in the areas of engineering and project delivery for Public Infrastructure and Resource Infrastructure across all of the Infrastructure business sub-sectors at WorleyParsons.
John was a director of the consulting firm Port and Harbour consultants when it was formed in 1987 and which was later acquired by the Wholohan Grill and Partners organisation in 1990 and his introduction to the company. At the time the WGP firm was some 250 people strong. He has had the privilege of seeing the growth and participating in the history of the WorleyParsons organisation up to the present day.
